Coille

Coille is a flower vase made from pine wood and pine pitch.

Pine pitch is a natural glue made up of pine tree sap, mixed with sawdust, charcoal and beeswax. The mixture is strong, very sticky and waterproof.

The wooden pillars provide structure and a handleable surface. The pitch joins the wooden pillars and ensures the vase is waterproof.

The vase is dipped in the molten pine pitch creating a unique treacle-like surface on top.

The vases are hand crafted and due to the nature of the process and materials, each item has slight imperfections and differences.

Recommended for indoor use only. Avoid high heat.
